JOB PURPOSE

As the Associate Director, Deodorant dCommerce Search and Display, you will shape the strategy for eCommerce including managing our media investment strategies across all customers and partnering with cross-functionals to improve our end-to-end capabilities—from supply chain to digital media. As an eCommerce thought leader, you'll help lead and influence the thinking around how to boost Unilever’s eCommerce performance while serving as a vital connector and influencer within the organization to deliver on innovation plans that are fit for eCommerce channels; that drive the core business and innovate to grow PC eCommerce in the U.S.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

You think and act strategically and creatively. You bring to life unmissable brand experiences and a deep understanding of what drives and influences online sales along with an outstanding consumer experience. You help the organization understand and implement what it takes to win at scale.

You are a passionate eCommerce leader with expertise in varied online commerce disciplines like profitable portfolio management across e-retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Target), network deployment of eCommerce (design for channel) brand/product format initiatives, P&L management, and building new business models for brands on ship to home.

You are a subject matter expert, knowing the right questions to ask at the right time, and are adept at stakeholder management at all levels of the organization—knowing no task is too small or too big.

You'll quarterback a squad of category leads and cross-functionals for eCommerce leadership meetings. You'll ensure efficiency and drive change through influence.

You will champion an iterative way of working that enables continuous improvement—encouraging marketing that is fun, learns from failures, and innovates every day to elevate Unilever’s capabilities and execution.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILIITES

The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • PC 12Q Planning for eCommerce:
    Take eCommerce to new heights across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Instacart. Develop strategy and lead execution of core assortment (i.e., core expansion, profitable bundles, gifting, etc.) and eCommerce-first innovation aimed at driving top-line growth, enhancing our consumer experience, and increasing operating efficiency and/or profitability.

  • Performance Marketing:
    Drive thought leadership in partnership with Media, Shopper, Brand, and Agency teams to iterate and improve our performance marketing efforts throughout the organization and test/learn to move the needle on our overall BPC learning agenda.

  • Digital Capability Building:
    Lead multiple workstreams allowing the organization to better drive the business—partnering with IT and DIAL teams, to create capabilities such as Performance Reporting (Domo, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and Performance Management tools (Share of Shelf, SKU prioritization, etc.).

  • Strategy Planning:

    Partner closely with the Head of eCommerce to efficiently manage the large eCommerce organization and stakeholders—prioritization, long-range planning, strategy, customer meetings, etc.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience across the Marketing, Digital, or eCommerce landscape
  • Strong business and analytical acumen
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Experience in influencing senior stakeholders and navigating a hugely matrixed organization
  • Proven track record in optimizing portfolios for Amazon and omnichannel customers

Pay: The pay range for this position is $141,680 to $212,520. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible. Benefits: Unilever employees are eligible to participate in our benefits plan.
