Location: This is a remote role. Candidates who live near CB offices have the option of being fully remote or hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office). All CB employees are required to occasionally travel to meet in person for business purposes.

BigFuture brings together a trusted community of experts to help every learner own their future. The BigFuture Community team is responsible for resources, content and go-to-market efforts to reach and engage teens, parents and other caring adults, and K-12 educators. Our authentic, trusted content for the BigFuture.org product features experts demystifies the college and career planning process. Our resources include BigFuture Scholarships ($23+ million to over 24K teens since 2019), the College Board National Recognition Program (283K students recognized for academic achievement in 2025); and BigFuture Ambassadors (thousands of high school students who share free college and career resources). The team coordinates cross-functional go-to-market efforts to reach and engage K-12, students and families.
About the Opportunity
As Associate Director, Community Content Implementation, you will implement and optimize content within BigFuture product experiences to help teens, parents, and families navigate college and career planning. Reporting to the Senior Director, Community Content Strategy, this is a hands-on execution role focused on translating defined product priorities into clear, usable content components within product flows. You will implement new content elements and continuously refine existing ones to support specific user actions such as log-in, opt-in, and repeat use. Using product performance signals and user behavior, you will improve content structure, clarity, and usability over time. While content implementation and optimization are the primary focus, you will also support the integration of video assets to ensure a cohesive and effective product experience.
In this role, you will:
Implement and Optimize Written Content for BigFuture Product Experiences
Produce and publish high volumes of written and curated content designed to live within BigFuture product experiences and content libraries, supporting defined user and business needs.
Develop articles, summaries, guides, graphics and other supporting content that are clear, actionable, and relevant for teens and parents.
Optimize content placement, sequencing, formatting, and calls to action to encourage log-in, opt-in, repeat use, and deeper exploration within BigFuture product experiences.
Monitor product performance against business goals including log-ins and repeat visits and apply insights and recommend iterative content updates.
Deliver content on tight timelines while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand and editorial guidelines
Continuously maintain and update content to improve accuracy, relevance, usability and user value based on product engagement data and qualitative feedback.
Execute Content Workflows Aligned to Product Priorities
Translate editorial direction and defined product priorities into outlines, page structures, briefs, and simple planning documents focused on execution.
Manage the day-to-day content implementation backlog and timelines in partnership with the Senior Director and Community team members.
Balance new content implementation with ongoing maintenance and optimization of existing pages to steadily improve product performance.
Implement workflows that enable predictable delivery, rapid iteration, and consistent output across product experiences.
Coordinate cross-functional dependencies to ensure content is delivered in sync with product timelines and feature updates.
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders, product engagement signals, and qualitative feedback to improve execution quality, speed, and reliability over time.
Support Video Integration Within BigFuture Product Experiences
Integrate approved video assets into product pages so written and video content work together to support user journeys and product actions.
Adapt placement, sequencing and presentation of video assets to improve clarity, usability and performance within product experiences.
Create supporting written content such as summaries, captions, or introductions to ensure videos are effective in the product context.
Support video creation by assisting with planning materials such as outlines, storyboards, and run-of-show documents.
Collect and surface qualitative user feedback and product engagement data related to video to inform ongoing improvements.
About You
Exceptional candidates can effectively speak to:
5+ years of experience producing and optimizing digital, written content with an execution focus.
Experience implementing and optimizing content directly within product experiences to engagement.
Strong writing and editing skills to structure content for clarity, relevance, usability, and performance.
Comfort applying standardized formatting and structures to ensure content is clear, accessible and consistent.
Experience monitoring product engagement metrics and collecting user input to improve content over time.
Clear understanding of and empathy for teens and families and what college and career information they need.
Experience supporting production using content management systems such as Drupal or similar platforms.
Ability to create simple, brand-aligned graphics in tools like Canva to visually support articles and web pages
Ability to work effectively in fast-moving, deadline-driven environments with frequent publishing cycles.
Comfort using project management tools such as Monday.com to track and report progress.
Ability to work in ambiguity and translate direction into strong, on-time deliverables.
Ability to travel for one to three days per month as needed.

About Our Process

A Thoughtful Approach to Compensation
The hiring range for this role is $56,000–$90,000.
