Associate Director, Commerical Finance Pricing

Essential Functions:

• Enhance and maintain all service line budget tools.
• May assist in the development of additional service line budget or pricing calculators.
• Perform other budget tool enhancements and maintenance, as requested.
• Meet with service line SMEs, Commercial Finance, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) quarterly to review and collect feedback on budget tools.
• Create training materials and user guides for all budget tools.
• Fix “bugs” in budget tools.
• Train Functional leads, Project Managers, Project Directors, and Proposal, Contract, and Finance leads on budget tools.
• Lead/assist with client bid grid mapping.
• Update budget tools based on cost analysis from FP&A team.
• Develop and track pricing metrics collection and analysis.
• Enhance CRS ballpark budget tool.
• Attend client meetings as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain complex concepts to non-finance professionals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly proficient in Excel and Excel-based pricing tools.
• Excellent time-management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• This position offers an opportunity to become a subject matter expert on the budgeting tool, with potential for growth and involvement in tool development initiatives.
• Potential to manage a team of Commercial Finance professionals with business growth.  
• Knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry; specific knowledge of industry trends in clinical development, regulatory affairs, and GMP/GCP/GLP compliance a plus.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in business or finance related field

Experience Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in finance, budgeting, or project management, preferably in a CRO industry.
• Experience in supporting and writing RFI and RFP responses.
