The Opportunity:

Reporting to the ED, Commercial Excellence, Analytics & Insights (CE&I) Europe, the AD, Commercial Analytics will be leading delivery of core commercial analytics initiatives across Europe, including data governance, reporting, KPI frameworks, launch-readiness analytics, and field effectiveness insights in the lead-up to and through Revolution Medicines’ first European launch.

The incumbent will be a key member of the CE&I team and will be required to partner with a broad range of internal stakeholders across the business, from affiliate commercial and medical teams to regional colleagues in Finance, Market Access and IS, as well as aligning and collaborating with Global colleagues and teams. The successful candidate will have been through a major European launch before and will thrive in that environment.

Responsibilities:

Data Strategy, Governance & Infrastructure

  • Own the governance and management of commercial data assets across Europe, including IQVIA, MIDAS, OneKey and local market data sources.

  • Lead the evaluation, implementation and optimization of commercial data sources, analytical tools and reporting capabilities.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, compliance and effective data stewardship across affiliates and functions.

  • Identify and address commercial data gaps through collaboration with affiliate teams, IS (Information Systems) and external vendors.

  • Partner with IS to enhance analytics infrastructure, reporting automation and CRM data integration.

Commercial Analytics & Performance Management

  • Lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of commercial performance reporting, dashboards and KPI tracking across Europe.

  • Design and maintain analytics solutions that provide actionable insights on launch readiness, sales performance, customer engagement and commercial execution.

  • Develop and manage standardized KPI frameworks and performance measurement methodologies across affiliates to ensure consistency and comparability.

  • Deliver ad hoc analytics and business intelligence to support regional and country-level commercial decision-making.

  • Act as a trusted analytics partner to regional and affiliate leadership, identifying opportunities to improve business performance through data-driven insights.

  • Support and contribute to the European short- and long-term demand forecasting process, ensuring forecasting assumptions are grounded in the same data infrastructure and market intelligence used for commercial performance reporting.

Customer Targeting & Field Effectiveness

  • Own the European HCP universe and tiering methodology, the foundation for territory design, call planning and field deployment.

  • Support country and affiliate teams on territory mapping and sizing analytics, grounded in the tiering data, while territory ownership and final decisions remain with the country.

  • Prepare incentive (SIP) scenario models and payout simulations for leadership decision-making, in partnership with Finance.

  • Define and track field KPIs, analyzing performance data and translating it into improvement actions for affiliate commercial leadership.

  • Generate field force and channel-effectiveness insight that affiliates act on, partnering with the Omnichannel & CRM Lead on shared Veeva reporting.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences, business analytics, economics, mathematics or a related field.

  • Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in a commercial analytics, business insights or market intelligence role within the European pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

  • At least 3–4 years of direct experience managing analytics projects using both internal sales data and third-party providers such as IQVIA, MIDAS or equivalent.

  • Candidates must have built or maintained analytical infrastructure ahead of a major European launch.

  • In-depth knowledge of the European pharmaceutical data landscape, including secondary data sources, data purchase governance and multi-country data management.

  • Strong technical data skills: SQL for data extraction and manipulation; Excel and VBA for modelling; Power BI for dashboard development and commercial performance reporting.

  • Proven track record designing KPI frameworks and performance dashboards that non-analytical stakeholders use to make decisions, not merely consume.

  • Experience with data governance in a multi-country European context: managing data purchases, defining ownership, preventing duplication and ensuring compliance.

  • Familiarity with Veeva CRM data structures and integration with commercial analytics and field force reporting.

  • Familiarity with data warehouse configuration and database design in a pharma commercial context.

  • Proven ability to operate as a senior individual contributor, building infrastructure from scratch in a lean, fast-moving pre-launch environment without an established data stack or team.

  • Proven success in building effective relationships with internal stakeholders across commercial, medical, finance and IS functions.

  • Highly organised and motivated individual with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to explain complex data clearly to non-analytical audiences including affiliate leads, finance teams and senior leadership.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic small company environment and able to roll up the sleeves to get things done.

  • Fluency in English required; an additional European language is an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
