The Position
Oversee the development and deployment of training framework for employees transitioning to CMR from strategic acquisitions. Develop and oversee implementation of the CMR Training Strategy that addresses current requirements and evolving needs. Work with asset integration teams to ensure transfer of knowledge from acquired resources to CMR stakeholders. Liaise with global and HQ counterparts to promote quality and consistency across regions. Lead the design and implementation of a structured and comprehensive onboarding experience to maximize engagement and talent retention.
Relationships
Reports to Director or above within CMR Training & Knowledge Management. Collaborates with global and CMR leaders and stakeholders to develop, design, and evolve a comprehensive onboarding and training strategy for resources transitioning to NAO/CMR from strategic acquisitions. Develops and maintains excellent working relationship with functional leaders within CMR to maximize consistency, quality, and customer service.
Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain resource onboarding, training, and development strategy in conjunction with Pipeline Strategy and Acquisition Integration leaders
  • Work with functionally-aligned Training & Knowledge Management team to develop acquisition role-based training plans that can be tailored to meet specific stakeholder needs
  • Liaise regularly with senior leaders in all CMR functional areas to identify knowledge gaps, areas of opportunity, and evolving needs of each part of the organization impacted by integration
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to seek alignment on learning and development efforts across CMR and NAO
  • Engage with HQ and IO counterparts to facilitate shared learning, promote consistent deployment of materials, and maximize organizational quality and efficiency
  • Identify and develop ways to improve operational efficiency, maximize quality and consistency, and decrease time to competency and cultural engagement for integrated resources
  • Identify opportunities to reinforce NN culture, OneCMR, and The Ten Essentials in onboarding and continued learning


Physical Requirements
10-20% overnight travel required; May be required to work company holidays and weekends.
Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred
  • Requires a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible clinical trial experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO and/or healthcare setting. Prior supervisory, project management, or leadership experience preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years prior training experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH Guidelines, federal and local regulations, and clinical research process
  • Demonstrated competency in coaching and training of clinical research staff
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrated excellent presentation skills to audiences of all levels, including senior management
  • Strong solution-oriented customer focus
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and meeting facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems, and other relevant training design and implementation platforms
