You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Drive the maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of existing Loan Origination and Loan Management Systems
  • Lead the implementation of system improvements, process enhancements, and software updates, ensuring compliance with all regulatory changes
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure system accuracy and adherence to industry best practices
  • Champion and support transformational initiatives, including the integration of new products, expanded product offerings, and critical system integrations
  • Develop and document comprehensive data and system requirements that align with evolving business needs and strategic goals
  • Serve as a primary partner to stakeholders across various business units, conducting in-depth analyses and developing robust documentation
  • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate system requirements on an ongoing basis, maintaining system processes and delivering insightful monthly status reports to relevant parties
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data collection to thoroughly understand and articulate business needs
  • Author and update internal and external documentation, including detailed functional specifications, Business Requirements Documents, and comprehensive process maps
  • Perform daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness, proactively troubleshoot issues, and identify areas for continuous improvement
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing efforts to validate implemented solutions meet business requirements and ensure high quality at every stage
  • Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses on proposed solutions to support data-driven decision-making and strategic investments
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in lending systems and business analysis to recommend innovative solutions and strategies

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, systems development, or a related field within an enterprise environment
  • Experience participating in or leading projects involving AI/Machine Learning (ML) integration into business processes or systems
  • Knowledge of current AI trends and technologies relevant to financial services, such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, or intelligent process automation
  • In-depth understanding and proficiency with the entire loan lifecycle
  • Proven expertise in requirements analysis, documentation, and leading process improvement initiatives
  • Proven solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven outstanding communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrable ability to work effectively and build solid relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, from technical teams to senior leadership
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Professional in Business Analysis (PBA), or Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework
  • Experience with lending platforms including LoanPro
  • Knowledge of project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
