What You Will Get To Do:

The Associate Director will be a senior leader responsible for overseeing and strategically guiding key operational and client service functions within SS&C Fund Services (Asia) Pte. Ltd. This role demands a seasoned professional capable of driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining strong client relationships.
 

Job Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for a designated portfolio of fund administration services, ensuring alignment with global company objectives and regional market demands.
• Manage and mentor a team of fund administration professionals, fostering a high-performance culture, promoting professional development, and conducting performance reviews.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a primary point of contact for escalations, strategic discussions, and new business opportunities.
• Oversee the end-to-end operational processes for various fund structures (e.g., hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds), ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in operational workflows, technology utilization, and service delivery to enhance client satisfaction and optimize internal efficiencies.
• Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify and pursue new client engagements and expand existing client relationships.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and compliance standards across all operational activities.
• Manage financial performance of the assigned business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
• Represent SS&C Fund Services at industry events, conferences, and client pitches as required.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational and client-related risks.
   

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CA, CPA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in the fund administration industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or Associate Directorial role.
• In-depth knowledge of various fund structures (e.g., hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds) and their associated accounting, operations, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record of managing large teams, developing talent, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Strong client relationship management skills with a history of successfully retaining and expanding client accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and manage complex projects.
• Excellent understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the Asian financial services market.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in fund accounting software and other industry-standard technologies.
