The Role

Overview:

Supports and/or manages assigned digital products, services, platforms, experiences and/or strategies as well as supporting industry analyses and research.  May assist in development of a product or Digital Banking strategy, including working with relevant business partners to create the design, development, implementation, marketing and ongoing support for the product or service.  Ensures projects, products or services follow existing Department processes and procedures.  Works with other departments in synthesizing data and insights to support strategy development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create documentation, review with business partners and gain approvals in accordance with Department processes and procedures.
  • Write business requirements.
  • Help facilitate design and customer journey mapping sessions.
  • Manage resolution of customer escalations for digital products or services.
  • Help coordinate marketing and communication strategies related to assigned digital products or projects.
  • Understand and manage product risk, inclusive of all phases a product may be in and all pillars of risk to protect the Bank.
  • Lead analyses and market research for assigned digital products or services.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

Associate's degree and a minimum of 2 years’ digital, marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 4 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ digital, marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience

Excellent problem-solving skills

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelor's degree

Experience with process mapping or customer journey mapping

Knowledge of how to write technical and business documentation

Experience working on digital technology projects

Previous financial services industry experience

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $70,023.60 - $116,706.01 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
