The team’s scope is comprised of 3 pillars:

Drive Strategic Growth & Revenue –Defining the vision and roadmap to transform data as a key asset to power business growth.

Modernize Data Management –Ongoing data management, data discovery and collaboration across Global Commercial Services

Ensure Health of the Commercial Business – Striving for 100% reliability of current data platforms and capabilities while developing more agility and scalability for the future

Responsibilities
  • Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data-driven products and capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives
  • Translate business goals into well-defined technical requirements and collaborate with Technology teams for effective implementation
  • Partner with the Data Office and business stakeholders to design and deliver innovative, customer-focused data solutions
  • Drive the conceptualization, integration, and enhancement of data products and platforms within Big Data and Oracle environments
  • Manage large-scale datasets to ensure seamless data operations, quality, and performance across platforms
  • Assess current-state data governance frameworks, processes, and controls to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and implement remediation plans to strengthen governance, access management, compliance, and data protection practices
  • Establish and maintain robust documentation for governance frameworks, processes, and data management practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business, technology, and compliance partners to ensure alignment on standards and execution
  • Communicate frequently and transparently with stakeholders, providing progress updates, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications

Academic Background/Past Experience

  • Bachelor/Advanced degree in data science, computer science, information technology, information management or statistics from premium institutes.
  • Experience in Product Role for data-based solutions for analytics/ capabilities plus demonstrated skills on data/ process automation.

Functional Skills/Capabilities

  • Experience in product development & solution designing
  • Strong problem-solving
  • Experience with agile methodology
  • Ability to perform comprehensive root cause analyses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to build & leverage relationships and influence broadly
  • Results driven with solid project management skills and ability to work on multiple priorities
  • Preferred: Expertise in end-to-end automation of solutions

Technical Skills/Capabilities

  • Data manipulation with large & complex dataset
  • Data management & processing
  • Data Quality Management
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (mandatory)
  • Experience with Oracle databases and Big Data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.)
  • Understanding of data architecture, metadata management, and data lineage concepts

  • Familiarity with data protection regulations and best practices for data retention and access management
