This position is ideal for a motivated early-career engineer who wants to grow across cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, security, and modern software delivery practices. You will work alongside experienced engineers in a structured product development environment and contribute to reliable, scalable, and secure cloud platforms that support real-time security and life-safety applications.

Individuals in this role will participate in cloud infrastructure deployment, pipeline automation, environment support, troubleshooting, release activities, and operational improvements while learning the architecture, tools, and practices used across Radionix security platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and support of cloud infrastructure used by Radionix software platforms, cloud services, web applications, APIs, and customer-facing portals.
  • Support infrastructure as code practices using Azure Bicep, with future opportunities to work with Terraform.
  • Help build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, with future opportunities to support GitHub Actions.
  • Assist with deployment automation for cloud services, microservices, APIs, databases, web applications, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Support Azure cloud environments while helping design DevOps practices that remain portable, maintainable, and cloud-agnostic where appropriate.
  • Work with senior engineers to understand cloud architecture, environment configuration, networking, security, monitoring, deployment patterns, and operational best practices.
  • Participate in a structured product development and release process, including environment provisioning, build validation, deployment support, verification, and production release activities.
  • Help monitor system health, application availability, infrastructure performance, logs, alerts, and operational dashboards.
  • Assist with troubleshooting deployment issues, build failures, infrastructure problems, configuration errors, and service availability incidents.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, test engineers, cloud engineers, architects, product owners, project managers, and support teams.
  • Help maintain secure DevOps practices, including secrets management, access control, certificate handling, secure configuration, and environment separation.
  • Support containerized application deployment patterns using tools such as Docker and cloud-native hosting platforms.
  • Assist with documentation of infrastructure, pipelines, deployment procedures, operational runbooks, and environment configurations.
  • Participate in code reviews, pipeline reviews, infrastructure reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
  • Use modern development and operations tools, including source control, issue tracking, build systems, deployment tools, monitoring platforms, and AI-assisted development tools where appropriate.
