We are looking for a motivated electrical engineer to design cable systems within HV electrical substations in the global market. In this role you will be involved in the engineering of e-electrical equipment, systems and installations, including specifications for manufacturing and construction, working under the direction of an experienced engineer.

Tasks:

  • You'll be working with a 3D model of an HV substation - yes, real modelling, no boring!
  • You'll stick to the plan and the budget, but don't worry, there's always room for your own creativity. Just make sure the final deliveries are of good quality, on time and within the estimated budget we agreed on.
  • You collect data and help the engineers with the preparation of building permit applications, work on drawings but mainly engineering work.
  • You assist in the procurement of materials and services, review documents from suppliers and prepare requests for quotations. You are simply in the middle of the project!
  • You help clients clarify and understand the technical details and requirements of a project you have been personally involved in with the team.
  • If you dare, you may also be given more responsibilities, such as coordinating and assigning tasks to the technical and administrative team you work in.

Employee requirements

  • Education in ELECTRICAL or POWER ENGINEERING
  • English - Intermediate (B1) - German is welcome (not compulsory)
  • also suitable for graduates
  • For customer approach, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAE applications such as MicroStation or AutoCAD is an advantage.
  • Understanding of project scheduling and interrelationships within a construction project is an advantage.
  • Experience with 3D models is an asset.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting from EUR 1,700 gross per month

In addition, this position is eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15%. The stated gross monthly salary represents the minimum starting salary for the role. The final compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and relevant experience, and will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
