Associate Demo Engineer

Yext is looking for a curious, technology-minded individual to join the Demo Engineering team as an Associate Demo Engineer.

This is a brilliant entry-level opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about technology, excited to learn, and keen to build a career at the intersection of AI, digital search, and sales enablement.The Demo Engineering team supports a wide range of internal partners — including Revenue (Sales and Solutions Engineering), Client Services, Marketing, and Product — by creating everything from polished standard demo environments to visionary "art of the possible" solutions that showcase what the Yext platform can do.

As an Associate, you'll learn the craft of demo engineering from the ground up, working alongside experienced engineers and solutions professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This role is based in India and is designed to give you real, hands-on experience from day one — with clear development pathways into a full Demo Engineer role.

•     Support Senior Demo Engineers with delivering Demo Engineering requests. This will include assisting in building and maintaining standard demo environments using the Yext platform.
•     Help customise demo accounts to reflect prospect-specific use cases and industry contexts, guided by senior team members.
•     Support updates to Knowledge Graph data, basic connector and crawler configurations, and front-end elements.
•     Help keep demo environments current with the latest Yext product features and configurations.

•     Continuously learn the Yext platform including Hearsay. Build a strong foundational understanding of the Yext platform, covering Listings, Search, Pages, and Knowledge Graph.
•     Shadow Senior Demo Engineers and Solutions Engineers to learn how demos are scoped, built, and used throughout the sales cycle.
•     Complete recommended certifications and participate in product enablement programmes.
•     Learn SEO best practices and assist in assessing prospects' digital presence using these best practices, beginning to identify areas for improvement.
•     Learn to understand the common data structures required to successfully support the generation of Yext Scout Reports.
•     Learn to interpret Yext Analytics including Yext Scout.
•     Learn to understand Yext Knowledge Scans; to evaluate a prospect's presence across digital Listings, user Reviews, and optimised web Pages.
•     With guidance from Senior Demo Engineers, learn to prepare and support reports and materials to enable pre-sales discussions led by Yext Global Solutions Engineers.
•     Begin developing basic skills in HTML, CSS, and using AI tools (such as LLMs) to assist with front-end customisation tasks.

•     Support the deal cycle by managing and responding to inbound requests from Solutions Engineers and Account Executives via Jira.
•     Participate in scoping calls and team stand-ups to develop an understanding of how work is prioritised.
•     Stay close to product updates — including pre-GA features — through internal channels and product communications.
•     Share learnings and observations with the team via Slack and team meetings.
•     Contribute to the SE Confluence knowledge hub by documenting what you've learnt, edge case handling, and useful guides for others.

•     Keep your assigned Jira Tickets Demo up to date.
•     Maintain and take responsibility for your allocated areas of the Demo Library.
•     Follow team administration hygiene and ticketing standards so requests are tracked, prioritised, and delivered consistently.
•     Be curious: ask questions proactively and surface blockers early — no one is expected to figure everything out alone.

•     A desire to develop a career in a technical, digital, or SaaS-related role — relevant internships, placements, or academic projects are very welcome.
•     A degree or equivalent practical experience in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
•     A basic awareness of HTML and CSS, or a genuine eagerness to learn.
•     Clear, confident communication skills — you can explain ideas simply and work well with others.
•     Genuine curiosity about technology, AI, and digital experiences.
•     A coachable attitude and the motivation to grow quickly in a high-performance environment
•     The ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate across teams effectively.
•     Curiosity; the default mindset to want to understand why technical aspects work, behave, evolve and the value it brings to Yext clients.

•     Previous experience in a technical, digital, or SaaS-related role.
•     Any exposure to SaaS platforms, CMS tools, Analytics platforms or digital marketing and SEO concepts.
•     A passing familiarity with JavaScript or basic front-end development.
•     Some experience or interest in data, structured content, or database concepts.
•     An interest in how technology supports pre-sales and revenue teams.

•     You'll work at the forefront of AI and digital search technology, gaining practical experience in one of the fastest-evolving spaces in tech.
•     You'll build real demo assets that directly support enterprise sales cycles — your work will matter from the start.
•     You'll receive structured mentorship and development to help you grow into a full Demo Engineer role.
•     You'll collaborate with talented Solutions Engineers, Account Executives, Field Marketing and Product teams across a global organisation.
•     You'll develop highly practical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, the Yext platform, and AI tooling, Analytics — and learn how to apply them in a commercial context.
