Associate DBA

We are currently seeking an Associate DBA to join our team!

Sao Paulo, Brazil (Hybrid)

• Experience with database administration in Production, Testing, and Development environments
• Knowledge of at least one of the following databases:
  • Required: SQL Server and Oracle
  • Nice to have: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Administration and configuration of backup and storage solutions
• Understanding of database security requirements, backup and recovery strategies, and performance monitoring

• Experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
• Knowledge of scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Unix)
• Industry certifications in SQL Server and Oracle
• Knowledge of an additional language (English or Spanish)

• Plan, develop, and execute technical support activities for users and database infrastructure maintenance (both remotely and on-site)
• Provide guidance and clarification to users while registering, analyzing, diagnosing, and handling database-related requests
• Troubleshoot issues, implement services, perform migrations, and handle technology transfers efficiently
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure proper database functionality
• Monitor the performance, capacity, and availability of database management systems (DBMS) to detect and resolve potential issues
• Administer and configure DBMS while following best security practices
• Meet SLA requirements for response times, escalation, and downtime notifications
• Update and maintain technical documentation to support database infrastructure sustainability
