JOB TITLE: Associate – DB8651171
DB USA Core Corporation seeks an Associate in New York, NY to design and deliver software application products to support the Bank’s global clients. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience designing, developing, and modifying software systems for a financial services institution, using scientific analysis and mathematical models, including one-factor short rate model, Vasicek mean reversion model, and CIR model to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design; utilizing JAVA, Python, C++, and JavaScript to build new software applications; analyzing information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts and peripheral equipment modifications; utilizing low-latency middleware messaging technologies including Tibco RV and Solace to exchange messages between applications; utilizing Bloomberg proprietary messaging protocol RUNZ to distribute pricing details to buy-side clients set up in Bloomberg address book; utilizing concurrent libraries for multi-threaded server-side development and swing library to build UI components; working with garbage collector and Java profiling tools including JProfiler to conduct memory leakage analysis and code optimization; utilizing Object Oriented Design and design patterns to improve code maintainability; utilizing Junit and Mockito libraries to perform unit and integration tests; and working with Q queries to query KDB time-series database and SQL to query Oracle relational database. Salary range: $128,800.00 - $140,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
