About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Associate Data Scientist to join RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will apply advanced analytics methods to solve business problems, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with business units to deliver high-quality analytics solutions and contribute to the development of future analytics capabilities.
What you will be doing
Assess applicability of advanced analytics methods for business topics.
Build methodologies and conduct advanced analytics to address business problems.
Generate actionable business insights from analytics outputs.
Execute advanced analytics projects and provide ad hoc analyses to business units.
Pilot advanced analytics methods, tools, and platforms.
Design, develop, and execute analytical algorithms, techniques, and statistical methods to solve business requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of analysis and proactively manage delays or issues.
Maintain high quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
Support business continuity of analytics deliverables.
Understand the implications of advanced analytics methodologies and assist in defining solutions for future business needs.
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Strong communication skills with effective writing and presentation abilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data manipulation tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
SAS programming skills are a plus.
Experience with Dataiku Data Science Workbench is an advantage.
