Programmers Force is a RegTech and FinTech SaaS product company developing AI-driven solutions for global markets. We are seeking a motivated Associate Data Scientist with a strong foundation in Python, data processing, and machine learning concepts. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with up to 6 months of experience to work on real-world AI projects and grow in a data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Write clean and efficient Python code for data processing, automation, and simple algorithms.
- Work with core data structures and collections to handle diverse datasets.
- Perform basic data cleaning, preprocessing, and file operations for analytical tasks.
- Use numerical and tabular data libraries to manipulate and analyze datasets effectively.
- Assist in designing and querying relational databases to support data workflows.
- Collaborate with the team to manage code repositories and version control using Git.
- Support the development of entry-level machine learning models, including basic neural networks and SVMs.
- Apply foundational deep learning concepts such as feature extraction, pooling, and model regularization.
- Evaluate models using appropriate metrics and help train them on custom datasets.
- Work closely with senior data scientists to learn best practices in AI/ML model development and deployment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, or related field.
- Strong Python fundamentals with knowledge of functions, loops, and conditional logic.
- Understanding of core data structures (lists, dictionaries, sets, tuples) and file handling.
- Hands-on experience with data manipulation libraries (NumPy, Pandas).
- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts, CNN basics, and model evaluation techniques.
- Eagerness to learn, experiment, and work in a collaborative, product-focused environment.
- Exposure to custom dataset preparation and basic model training.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows.
- Academic or internship projects in AI/ML or data analytics.
