Associate Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Analyze large and complex datasets, utilizing statistical techniques to extract meaningful insights and trends.
• Build robust data pipelines and ETL processes to efficiently prepare data for modeling and analysis.
• Evaluate and optimize model performance, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate models into production systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, continuously expanding your knowledge and skillset.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing within the team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Science or another AI-related field only.
• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with data science libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Databases & SQL: Solid understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Data Structures & Algorithms: Familiarity with fundamental data structures (lists, dictionaries, trees, graphs) and algorithms (searching, sorting, dynamic programming) for efficient data processing and model development.
• Statistics & Machine Learning: Comprehensive knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering), and data mining techniques.
• Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to effectively communicate insights and findings.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically to approach complex data challenges.
• Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and contribute in a team environment.

Bonus Points:

• Contributions to open-source projects or participation in data science competitions
• Publications or presentations at conferences or workshops
• Knowledge and practical exposure on Computer Vision and LLMs
