Senior Associate Data Scientist (Analytics)

The Position: The Senior Associate Data Scientist will serve as an internal consultant, collaborating across teams and departments and using modern analytics technology to enhance the company’s ability to assess contractor risk. Deliverables will include strong data visualizations, insightful statistical analyses, advanced analytical models, and presentation of impactful data narratives to internal and external customers. The position also uses analytical and technology skills to optimize internal data operations through business process automation and enhanced operational reporting.

Who should apply?

• Graduate degree (Master’s or above) in Data Science, Analytics, Management Information Systems, Applied Statistics or related quantitative field from an accredited university 
• 2+ years of experience in data visualization tools – Tableau (required) and Power BI (required) 
• 2+ years of experience in database and data manipulation tools – SQL and/or Alteryx
• 2+ years of experience in computational programming, modeling, and machine learning tools – SAS, Python, and/or R
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Use technical and analytical skills to extract, format, analyze and report on large data sets
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business context and project objectives
• Provide reliable access to high quality data through dashboards and reports
• Present summarized procedures, results, and business recommendations
• Participate in researching new predictive analytics methods and visualization approaches that facilitate decision making and risk score carding
• Communicate meaning of principles and processes to technical and non-technical audiences
• Effectively leverage approved AI-powered tools and automation to enhance productivity across daily work activities and applicable Software Development Life Cycle elements —such as requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and /or operations.

Job Location: 3232 McKinney Ave Ste 1500, Dallas, TX 75204.

• Employees must be within a commutable distance to the Dallas, TX office. Relocation is required for candidates not already local to the DFW area.
• Required to come to the office at least 2 times per week during the first 90 days.   
• After 90 days, your role on the Products team will have the option to work remotely with at least 1 in-person engagement required monthly.
