As an Associate on our Data Governance team within the Chief Data Office, you'll be at the heart of driving operational excellence, program reporting, and effective communications across our organization. Job Summary
As an Associate in the Chief Data Office's Data Governance team, you will play a key role in driving program reporting, communications, and operational excellence. You'll oversee monthly metrics and dashboards, coordinate milestones and deliverables, and maintain a comprehensive inventory of data assets. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you'll support the development and implementation of governance frameworks, prepare leadership updates, and ensure high standards for documentation and program materials. This role is ideal for a collaborative, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is interested in advancing their career in data governance and program management.
Job responsibilities
  • Manage monthly metrics and reporting process to key stakeholders.
  • Identify and oversee implementation of improvements to reporting and dashboards.
  • Create and disseminate monthly program report and communications.
  • Coordinate and track milestones, deliverables and requests for information (RFIs) across the Chief Data Office team.
  • Assist in creating leadership updates to track progress of the governance program.
  • Prepare and oversee monthly governance forum materials and agenda.
  • Assist Data Governance Lead in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and operating models.
  • Oversee documentation standards and repository across Data Governance and Data Management Operations teams.
  • Maintain inventory of our data assets, including assigning appropriate roles and responsibilities.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Risk Management, and/or Program/Project Management.
  • Experience with business intelligence/reporting tools (e.g., Qlikview).
  • Proven ability to develop strong partnerships and collaborations across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in defining and implementing multi-faceted projects or programs.
  • Recognized as a team player and self-starter.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, complexity, and continuously changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft desktop productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, SharePoint, Teams).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Experience with Confluence or similar tools.
