Job Summary:
- As an Associate- Data and Control Management in the Exception Control Management team, you will play a crucial role in the development, production, transformation, and delivery of data essential for Quality and Control management within Customer Service and Card Lending Services.
- You will utilize user tools and workflows to process incoming data, ensuring its seamless integration into defined queue management systems.
- You will collaborate with business units to build standard solutions and ensure processes are managed within business SLAs for optimal end-to-end results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the collection and documentation of the Inventory and Request Management (IRM) process by engaging with report developers and business leads to define and document report requirements.
- Ensure the completion and accuracy of Business Requirement Documents.
- Manage the execution of assigned processes to ensure adherence to process owners' requirements.
- Oversee the Reporting and Analytics testing process, collaborating with requestors to complete necessary forms for closing out reporting development and implementation across Auto, Card, Retail, Digital, and Lending Services.
- Support partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Manage the requirements and implementation of reporting/processes.
- Build data views and extracts, preparing data for user consumption. Perform data mapping from source systems.
- Automate manual processes.
- Create ad hoc and production data reports ensuring all documentation is updated on data files.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with operational leaders and partners, both internal and external to Lending Services.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in analysis in cards, retail, finance or other consumer-oriented business with large customer databases and minimum 3 years of experience in Visual Basic and Access databases, SQL and Alteryx
- Verify the correctness and completeness of work through multiple reviews and validation with relevant stakeholders or data sources.
- Ability to analyze data and communicate meaningful insights to leaders, delivering analytical solutions with a focus on practical, actionable business recommendations.
- Proficient in handling and prioritizing multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with willingness and ability to learn and apply new skills and knowledge continuously.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical rigor and logical thinking with a continuous process improvement mindset.
- Ability to quickly understand technology-related issues and critically assess end-user impact.
- Knowledge of SQL programming and relational database design.
- Experience with Visual Basic and Access databases and Card/Lending platforms such as C3 (TSYS/Greenscreen) and ACAPS.
- Self-starter, extremely organized, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience with Business Intelligence platforms like Tableau, SAS, and Alteryx is a plus.
