Position Summary
The Cybersecurity Risk Analyst will support the underwriting, claims and product teams to better understand the network and information security space. This role will report into the product team, which falls under the umbrella of Professional Liability Underwriting, and will report directly to the VP, Cybersecurity Risk Engineer.
Job Responsibilities
Support underwriters with cyber risk analysis and the product team with practical knowledge gained from cyber experience. Help improve our underwriting, claims and product expertise in Cyber and Technology Professional Liability practice. Assist clients with understanding technical control subjectivities and provide resources and guidance on control implementation as needed.
Desired Skills

Demonstrates knowledge of current malware trends and has an understanding of common tactics, techniques and procedures of ransomware threat actors.

Strong Communication Skills – Ability to present complex topics in simple and effective manners so that broad audiences understand.
Required Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.

1-2 years’ experience in an IT Risk Analyst, Cyber Threat Analyst, Red/Purple team, DFIR, Security Engineer, Security Analyst or similar role (preferred).
