The Opportunity:
The Associate Customer Project Manager position supports our external customer implementations by developing, creating, documenting, and facilitating professional project plans for implementing Roche Diagnostic products, for our customers. The focus of this position which resides in our Roche Support Network (RSN) is to lead customers through a predefined project management journey from contract through the end of implementation. Initial projects include installations, large upgrades, and legacy conversions of analyzers in customer laboratories. While a majority of work can be completed remotely, this position may require approximately 30% overnight travel across the US.
You are an early career professional who seeks to learn, develop, and hone project management skills for projects of high complexity, medium to high risk, and long-term duration. You are an effective communicator who is able to negotiate with and influence various internal and external stakeholders. You are very organized, detail-oriented, and have some experience with IT and/or diagnostic laboratory implementations. You seek to grow your career in project management, related diagnostic support, and/or leadership roles over time.

Initiates and leads the development of the project schedule; assists in the development of project budgets and forecasts

Ensures project management approaches and tools support process development and are aligned with other business practices

Assists Project Leads to ensure the projects are managed in accordance with policies and stated objectives and timelines are achieved

Sets up and maintains tools, mechanisms to track project schedules, budgets, and risk/contingency reporting; may assist in the development of project and financial reporting systems

Identifies and helps resolve project conflicts; manages projects in the best interest of team members, stakeholders, and customers in order to ensure project objectives and business goals are achieved

Manages the tracking and reporting of project success measures; monitors, addresses, and reports project timeline and budget variances, and recommends contingency options

Troubleshoots, negotiates, and facilitates communication between all parties involved in the development/implementation of projects, including status updates on active projects

Presents updates to leadership as requested. Drives and implements continuous improves initiatives, knowledge sharing, and best practices

Who You Are:

Bachelor's Degree

2 years related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
-
5 years of related business, project management, and/or project support experience with the demonstrated ability to lead and manage a project independently

Able to travel approximately 30%, including overnight travel across the US

Reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport in the US
-
Currently possess legal work authorization for full-time work in the US and will not require future sponsorship for employment visa status

Project management education or qualification (CAPM, PMP)

Health care or lab/diagnostics experience

LIS/middleware experience

Experience partnering directly with external facing customers.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $81,200.00 to $150,800.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
