Who You Are
You’re an Associate Creative Director who thinks in visuals, not just layouts. You concept big ideas, push visual language into new territory, and lead with taste and clarity. You know how to make healthcare look anything but predictable. You guide designers and art directors, partner with writers, and bring ideas to life across channels with style, intelligence, and craft. You don’t just design, you direct the experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead visual concepting and execution from idea to launch across campaigns, platforms, and brand systems.
- Deliver bold, platform-worthy concepts with craft that hits just as hard as the idea.
- Build and evolve visual identity, motion, photography, typography, and UI across campaigns and products.
- Present work with conviction, guiding clients and teams toward the strongest creative choices.
- Mentor art directors and designers, pushing their ideas, and their craft, to new levels.
- Be able to understand and receive feedback to sharpen ideas.
- Collaborate seamlessly with strategy, copy, account, UX, production, and development.
- Understand production inside and out, from photo direction to motion, broadcast, and digital builds.
- Stretch ideas beyond just “ads” into brand experiences, content, digital, product, and environments.
- Push creativity fast without losing detail, nuance, or intention.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of art direction/visual creative experience in agencies; healthcare is a plus, not a requirement.
- Portfolio that proves you can concept big and execute beautifully (campaigns, content, product, identity).
- Expert understanding of typography, composition, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite; motion, Figma; 3D skills are strong bonuses.
- Able to direct shoots, motion, visual identity, and digital experiences while maintaining cohesiveness.
- Driven, curious, and unafraid to challenge safe thinking with respect and collaboration.
- Willing to travel and occasionally go late when the idea deserves the extra push.
