Role Overview
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to take responsibility for providing all core Cost Management services on a number of interesting projects while acting as main client liaison as well as providing support to the existing team in the delivery of projects.
 
Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage property and business support issues in the Region, promoting efficiency, effectiveness and best practice.
  • Control the budget for property and infrastructure in the Region.
  • Promote the use and continuous improvement of Intelligence, carry out local QA and H&S audits within the Region to ensure conformance. 
  • Participate in the development of Rider Levett Bucknall strategy.
  • Operational management, responsible for ongoing revenue, costs and profit and delivering annual and medium-term business plans.
  • Resource planning - establish and maintaining adequate resources to deliver customer satisfaction profitably.
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of the delivery of projects. Be aware of our technical performance on projects, regularly review projects with staff and customers.
  • Keep up to date with current thinking and best practice within your discipline.
 
Candidate Profile
 
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline.
  • MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body.
 
Experience
  • Strong experience in Healthcare, Education and Commercial sectors.
  • Strong technical delivery experience.
  • Previously employed by a consultancy or end user client.
  • Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts.

Skills Required

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar technical discipline
  • MRICS or membership of another relevant professional body
  • Strong experience in healthcare, education, and commercial sectors
