• Experienced cost management professional with minimum 12 years in the construction industry, including minimum of 5 years in Dubai or the Middle East. 

• Ideally involved mainly in Pre-Contract roles, having managed high-profile landmark projects and has led teams of larger than 6. 

• Experience in a range of asset types, ideally High-End Residential, Commercial and Hospitality projects. 

• Experience in leading projects with large CAPEX values exceeding US$ 200 million. 

• Ability to take ownership and lead work under minimal direction on all stages of pre-contract phase, for measurement, feasibility studies, cost estimation, value engineering, market testing.

• Ability to provide advisory on procurement strategies, tender analysis, contractor selection.

• Manages projects and resources according to the requirements of the project and acts as primary point of contact for clients on mid and large scale projects. 

• Accountable for a variety of deliverables throughout the lifecycle of multiple projects, generally within an end market sector. 

• Accountable for briefing the team on project scopes to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood. 

• Manages quality control and ensures all procedures are complied with. 

• Manages benchmarking, data collection, internal reporting. 

• Mentors junior member staff to enable careeer development.  

• Monitors and manages the performance of direct reports. 

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or other Construction related field. 

• Chartered RICS Membership (MRICS) 

• Minimum 12 years post graduate 

• Minimum 5 years in the Middle East
