Job Description:
Associate Controller will be part of the HQ Maersk Liner cost controlling and Accounts Payable organization and will work with wide range of stakeholders in and outside of the finance and operations organization to control and improve data quality of cost reporting.
Associate Controller will be responsible to ensure that the costs are complete, timely, accurate and well controlled from all business aspect. He / She will also be responsible for audit related to the Accounting for their respective business areas.
Associate Controller is expected to act proactively to search for and implement continuous improvements in controlling and revenue/cost leakages.

Required experience & skills
1.Financial educational background as Intermediate - Cost Accountant, Intermediate Chartered Accountant or equivalent degree in Finance and Accounting and good understanding of control framework.
2. Minimum 6 years of qualification experience within cost controlling, cost accounting, P&L analysis etc.
3.Self-motivated and continuously looks for opportunities to improve financial reporting and processes by exploring new approaches and ideas
4.Excellent analytical and structured working method Ability to handle phases with high workload and unplanned activities.
5.Team player - works together with others to achieve results.
6.Shipping/ Transportation industry experience would be an added advantage but not mandatory.
