We're seeking a future team member for the role of Corporate Actions Specialist to join our Corporate Actions team. This role is located in Pittsburgh.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Perform tasks related to the setup and maintenance of accounts within the corporate action application.
  • Support the Corporate Action team in the execution of daily operational activities and workflow requirements.
  • Coordinate outreach to custodians for communication pertaining to corporate action notifications and elections associated with new account relationships.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new clients by ensuring corporate action setup and related processes are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Ensure all account setup and onboarding activities are completed in accordance with established procedures, controls, and service expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to account setup, custodian communications, and onboarding activities.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and client service delivery.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in corporate actions, client onboarding, securities operations, or a related financial services function preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn internal systems and operational tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

    BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting. 

    Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered.
