Daxko is seeking an Associate Content Marketing Manager - Social Media to join our team and support the development of our social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Substack, YouTube, and other platforms. As an associate, you'll work under the guidance of the Manager, Content Marketing to learn social media strategy, content planning, community management, and analytics. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate to launch a career in digital marketing while helping establish Daxko as the leading connected fitness software brand trusted by fitness operators worldwide.
This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about social media, creative, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to grow their expertise in social strategy and community management.
- Support social media content calendar planning across our social channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, Substack, and others) by researching content ideas, tracking campaign themes, and maintaining organized scheduling systems
- Create and draft engaging social media content, including captions, posts, and copy that align with Daxko's brand voice, working closely with the Manager of Content Marketing and other team members for feedback and approval
- Assist with content design using tools like Canva to create graphics and visuals for social media posts
- Publish and schedule posts across platforms using social media management tools, ensuring a consistent posting schedule and adherence to brand guidelines
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and help build community engagement under the supervision of the Manager of Content Marketing
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, including engagement rates, reach, impressions, and click-through rates, and sharing findings with the team
- Research current digital trends, platform algorithm updates, and competitor activity to contribute fresh ideas for social media content
- Maintain accurate information across all social media profiles, including bios, links, and account details
- Support special projects and campaigns as assigned by the Manager, Content Marketing
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Internship experience or hands-on social media experience (personal projects, student organizations, freelance work, or academic case studies welcome)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for different social media platforms
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a strong ability to meet deadlines
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret social media metrics and KPIs
- Proficiency with social media scheduling and management tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar)
- Comfort using design tools like Canva for creating graphics and basic visual content
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to function well in a dynamic, collaborative team environment
- Openness to feedback and willingness to learn and iterate quickly
- Proactive mindset with genuine interest in staying informed about social media trends and platform changes
