As Lilly strives to achieve these objectives, we have embarked on building and in-housing a state-of-the-art “recommendation engine” platform to enable more agile sales and marketing operations. This platform will

- ingest a wide variety of data sources,

- run advanced personalization models

- and integrate seamlessly with all other Lilly operations platforms

to provide recommendations on “what should we do next” to the sales and marketing teams at the individual doctor level, enabling better decision making and improving customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Have strong understanding of deep learning models to churn to deliver most optimized Omnichannel Promotional Sequence to be implemented by the sales teams
• Analyze large volumes of data to identify trends, figures and other relevant information to help inform modelling decisions and choices;
• Ability to breakdown a business problem into a corresponding statistical problem statement, identify solution approach and constraints thereof
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to effectively communicate analysis findings;
• Knowledge of pharma datasets and industry strongly preferred
• Experience of ML models code refactoring, training, retraining, deployment, testing and continuous monitoring for drift
• Optimisation of model hyper parameters
• Ability to learn on the job especially as it relates to ML and its application to solve business problems

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related discipline preferred but not mandatory
• 2-6 years of experience working hands-on with data (including coding, summarizing and interpreting results)
• Strong hands-on knowledge of a coding language such as SQL or Python
• Prior understanding of using ML techniques to deploy, assess performance and fine tune recommendation engine models (CNN/LSTM, GA, XGBoost etc..), esp. for pharma/biotech/insurance/other healthcare players
  • Relevant Mastery in Feature Engineering, Feature Selection and Model Validation on Big Data
• Familiarity with cloud technology such as AWS and knowledge of AWS tools, esp S3, EMR, EC2, Redshift, Glue; viz tools like Tableau and Power BI will be a plus
