As an Associate Cloud Technology Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you'll be an integral part of our dynamic sales team, working at the intersection of cloud technology and client relations. Your role is not just about meeting quotas; it's about identifying new opportunities from existing accounts and presenting tailored solutions that add real value to our clients. You'll engage directly with clients at various levels, collaborating with internal subject matter experts to develop and deliver the best possible solutions.
You'll spend a significant amount of time supporting the sales process alongside Client Managers, from identifying qualified leads to closing deals. As a Sales Specialist, you are also responsible for generating your own pipeline and opportunities within your assigned client base. By working closely with pre-sales architects, you'll help create compelling solution designs that meet the client's needs and align with their business goals. Your expertise in cloud technology and understanding of the competitive landscape will be crucial as you develop and articulate our value propositions and business solutions.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is at the heart of what you do. You'll conduct functional gap analyses, address business issues raised by clients, and work to understand their unique challenges and needs. By developing clear account plans, you'll ensure that our solutions are not only effective but also aligned with the clients' strategic objectives. Your ability to spot new sales opportunities and work collaboratively with sales teams will be key to driving growth and achieving sales targets.
In addition to engaging in active selling, you'll stay ahead of market trends and continuously develop your cloud technology expertise. You'll work with technology vendors to fully understand their solutions and how they can complement our offerings. Your role will also involve partnering with internal teams to ensure proposals are tracked and managed effectively, providing regular check-ins with primary points of contact, and establishing buy-in from all stakeholders.
