Activation implements Amplifi solutions with a performance-first mindset—executing, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns across platform and direct channels to deliver the best outcomes for all (sanpo yoshi).
Data, Technology & Analytics drives Amplifi’s product, data, and analytics initiatives to ensure the effective implementation of our solutions and data driven tools
Revenue Operations designs and implements the infrastructure that protects and grows Amplifi’s revenue—ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliant processes across all partnerships and programs.
Business Strategy shapes & drives the strategic direction of the Amplifi organization, connecting the dots between our big picture goals and the day-to-day work across all teams.
Role Summary:
The Associate is responsible for supporting with the execution and stewarding of media buys. As an entry level position, the Associate represents the start of a media career and is highly supervised by an Associate and will be primarily focused on the media execution process.
This position is essential in the day-to-day tactical management of the investment program and requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast paced, detail-oriented environment. While advanced Media knowledge is not required, the successful Associate is resourceful and demonstrates the initiative to participate in advanced projects. This hire is eligible to attend Media Basics School offered twice a year.
The Associate position is training-intensive. Aptitude for learning new skills (both technical and organic) and procedures is essential. The Associate is expected to be an active participant, increasing participation over time in the position. The Associate is also encouraged to contribute ideas and insights that will benefit our clients and team.
Key Responsibilities:
Buying and Execution:
Interface and assist Senior Associate and Manager with day to day workloads
Input buys into the given system per the given media focus
Proactively tracks delivery and performance of client media schedules
Responsible for the interaction with vendors regarding all media activity
Identify and resolve billing discrepancies
Prepare a variety of reports for clients & client teams
Demonstrate multi-tasking ability, keep multiple projects on-track, structuring and executing work
Client & Internal Relationships:
Support Senior Associate in preparing and delivering work to clients
Assists Senior Associate in maintaining client budget levels
Assist Senior Associate in communicating with billing department and account teams
Attends status meetings when appropriate
Manage relationships with external client vendors alongside Senior Associate
May be responsible for informing buying staff/clients of new opportunities or issues
Participates and contributes in face-to-face internal client teams and vendor meetings
Engages with all work-related contacts in a professional & respectful manner
Possesses mature and professional business acumen in personal and written communications
Strategic Thinking & Leadership:
Maintain constant presence in marketplace in order to learn new and innovative ideas that can be presented to management for new deal opportunities
Actively seeks solutions to issues related to media buying tools such as DDS, Prisma, preemptions and makegoods with client’s media schedules
As appropriate, recommend improvements to internal workflow to improve efficiency
Keep current with market research (industry periodicals, email newsletters, websites, etc.)
Demonstrate active listening skills and ability to apply learnings over time
Recognize potential issues and problems, know when to escalate and propose solutions, where possible
Take clear ownership of assigned tasks
Communication Skills:
Practice good listening skills and takes copious notes
Express oneself clearly and concisely in oral communications
Write in a clear, compelling and concise manner
Organize ideas and information logically and sequentially
Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree
0-1 years industry experience
Understanding of, and a desire to learn more about Media Buying
Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to learn server-based software and tools
Demonstrates passion and curiosity for media investment
Proficient knowledge with Media Buying tools/software (i.e. DDS)
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks
Additional Information:
The annual salary range for this position is $45,000-55,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
