To support the continued growth of our client base in Korea, Hamilton Lane is looking to hire an Associate to join our Client Solutions team in Seoul.

The Client Solutions Associate will work closely with senior members of the Client Solutions team and provide day-to-day support across client servicing and internal coordination. The role will involve preparing client materials, responding to information requests, and coordinating with various teams across Hamilton Lane to support the firm’s client activities in Korea.

The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with strong analytical and communication skills. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with colleagues across different functions and geographies. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all aspects of client relationships including but not limited to:

  • Support senior members of the Client Solutions team in servicing existing clients and prospective clients in Korea.
  • Assist in the preparation of client meetings, presentations, portfolio reviews, investment materials, and other client deliverables.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of assigned client portfolios, investment strategies, and underlying investments.
  • Develop a working knowledge of Hamilton Lane’s investment strategies and product offerings across private markets.
  • Assist with client and prospect inquiries, including portfolio analysis, investment-related questions, data requests, and other informational requests.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including investment teams, legal, research, reporting, compliance, and other relevant functions, to gather information and prepare client deliverables.
  • Conduct portfolio, performance, and investment analysis to support senior team members in client discussions and ongoing client servicing.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of RFPs, due diligence requests, track record analysis, and other materials for existing and prospective clients.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of presentations and other client-facing materials, coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Support senior team members in evaluating and preparing relevant investment opportunities and materials for Korean clients.
  • Help maintain client and prospect information, meeting records, pipeline updates, and other internal documentation and systems.
  • Provide execution and coordination support for client meetings, due diligence sessions, roadshows, and other client-related activities.
  • Assist with other team initiatives and special projects as needed.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS; Education and/or Experience:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in financial services, preferably within asset management, private markets, securities, consulting, or a related field. Private markets experience is a plus.
  • Native-level proficiency in Korean and fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of finance, accounting, and investment concepts.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare clear and professional client materials.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior team members and colleagues across different functions and geographies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive, dependable, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Some domestic and international travel may be required.
