Job Description

  • Manage a varied booked of business housed in a Corporate Management License, Mutual Fund License and Trust License. 
  • Actively manage the full life cycle of IQ-EQ Clients from pitches, deal closing, legal set-up and termination
  • Act as personal director, and represent the IQEQ Corporate Director on various Fund, SPV and Private Wealth vehicles.
  • Be appointed to other key official positions for Fund and SPV vehicles.
  • Prepare reports and present at board meetings for Fund and SPV structures.
  • With support from senior leadership, act as the regulatory outsourcing champion for IQ-EQ Cayman, closely involved with monitoring and report for the outsourced functions for the office.
  • Lead and perform in line with local and Group initiatives
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal local and group stakeholders and well as professional intermediaries and contacts, including direct report.
  • Undertake client visits supported by senior team members to ensure that robust client relationships are maintained and developed with a view to cultivating new sale of service opportunities from the existing client portfolio (including cross-sell opportunities for other segments and jurisdictions)
  • Actively monitor and identify the strengths and weaknesses of the current service delivery model. Propose and assist with the implementation of effective actions, which deepen client relationships and manage risk
  • Deliver agreed standards for client service and monitor performance on a regular basis
  • Deliver the targets within own functional area for revenue, utilization, recoverability, and cash collection
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, service standards, company policies and procedures, agreed operational, and control processes. Implement operational efficiencies and agree remedial or improvement actions with accountable staff
  • Use your professional judgement to bring to the attention of (senior) management any issues which you feel appropriate, ensuring that concerns and identified risks are reported in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintain up-to-date information on developments in the regulatory environment and ensure compliance at all times
  • Ensure client deadlines are met and produce fee proposals for client services enquiries
  • Provide direction to the support staff will support your portfolio of clients.
  • Preparing monthly reports for Leadership
  • Performs any such other activities as may be reasonably required by the role.
  • Be prepared to assist senior leadership with the launch of new products and departments as the IQ-EQ Cayman business continues to grow.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in business, law or finance with 3-5years fiduciary experience
  • Have a detailed understanding of Cayman AML and KYC regulations, ACAMS would be advantageous.
  • Thorough understanding of Cayman AEOI, Economic Substance and UBO reporting requirements is advantageous
  • Experience acting as a personal director or other official positions on fund or private client structures is desired
  • Be able to present AML reports and board reports to fund directors with confidence
  • Membership of relevant Financial Institute
  • Excellent client relationship & interpersonal skills
  • Extensive experience within the offshore finance Industry
  • Awareness and understanding of cross jurisdictional cultural differences
  • Knowledge of strong corporate governance practices and experience of risk mitigation
  • Solid commercial acumen with an ability to lead within own functional area
  • Team oriented with the desire to thrive in a diverse, dynamic and collaborative environment
  • Evidence of commitment to high standard of customer service based on understanding needs and delivering solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective listening skills and able to make and communicate rational judgments in a decisive manner
  • Strong Microsoft application knowledge

IQ-EQ offers an attractive remuneration package dependent on experience and qualifications in the range of USD$120,000 - USD$135,000 plus statutory benefits.
