Associate Chief of Staff

We are looking for an Associate Chief of Staff, based in NYC or SF, to join the Office of the Founders and support the CEO and CTO. You will work with the Chief of Staff to be a force multiplier for the CEO and CTO of Fay. The Associate Chief of Staff will have an impact on the efficiency and productivity of the company, testing new business initiatives, driving program management and communicating cross-functional objectives.

Key responsibilities will include planning and launching new business incubations, maintaining the operational rhythm of the business, developing communications that align company narratives, and ensuring our Founders’ time is leveraged for the highest impact by providing operational support. What You'll Be Doing

• Maintain the operating cadence of the business by improving Fay’s ways of working, including leadership meetings, OKRs, and metrics
• Lead special projects and initiatives
• Serve as an advisor, thought partner, and support system to the founders
• Build systems and processes to maximize the effectiveness of the executive team
• Captain our culture, developing and running initiatives and events across the company

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of experience in business operations/finance at a startup or management consulting
• Strong execution and experience managing workstreams with attention to detail
• Analytical and metrics-focused
• High emotional intelligence with ability to understand different stakeholder perspectives
• Experience thinking across multiple dimensions of a business (sales, product, marketing etc.) and work cross-functionally to deliver results
• The ability to flex between analytical, strategic and operational aspects of the job
• You are resourceful and happy to roll up your sleeves to get any job done
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with focus on crisp, concise and effective communication
• General understanding of the market and competitive landscape
• The ability to proactively identify gaps in the business, and propose / drive thoughtful and inclusive solutions
• Strong collaboration experience and ability to find win/win situations
