Purpose of role:

The Change and Transformation Manager will lead strategic initiatives within the Transaction Banking division, focusing on optimizing Client Implementation processes through offshoring. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive change, work with cross-functional teams across the APAC region, and ensure seamless integration of offshored operations to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Job description

Strategic      

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support standardization of offshoring initiatives across the region.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align offshoring strategies with business objectives and new products to market.

Change Management:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for offshoring initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Perform deep dive and document existing processes and procedures to formulate, rationalize and propose a new Regional Standardized Operating Model to improve internal efficiencies and improved client onboarding experience.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth transition and integration of offshored processes.
  • Design and implement new digital workflow tool(JIRA) to allow visibility and tracking of client implementation cases across the region.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Facilitate communication between onshore and offshore teams to maintain transparency and collaboration.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify potential risks associated with offshoring and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to offshoring.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish KPIs to measure the success of offshoring initiatives and report on progress to senior management.
  • Continuously assess and improve offshored processes to enhance performance and efficiency.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Provide training and support to ensure team members are equipped to manage offshored operations effectively.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in change management and transformation within the banking sector, in transaction banking.
  • Experience in project management with a track record of successful offshoring initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
