Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualification
- 3-5 years relevant working experience in procurement or category sourcing
- 2-3 years experience as a purchasing officer, purchasing agent, category buyer, or similar role
- Experience building sourcing calendars, vendor sourcing practices, market research and vendor evaluation
- Experience with supplier negotiations and cost management
- Experience preparing RFx, tender and bid templates, SOWs and translating business requirements
- Experience working in a medium to large organization managing category sourcing
- Experience with SAP, ARIBA, or a major ERP system
- Experience with Oracle (preferable)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification
