QualificationsSYNOPSIS OF DUTIES
1. The Associate Casino Accountant is responsible for assisting the Casino Accountants with the daily slots and cash desk revenue audits, table games revenue audit, and associated accounting entries.
2. The position is also responsible for recording slot machine meters and preparing meter comparison reports for MICS compliance; tracking/reporting various cash desk and gaming transactions including checks cashed/deposited, overages/shortages, gaming drop statistical details and progressive jackpots; and preparing various monthly reports for management.
3. Associated responsibilities include maintaining files/records consistent with the Enterprise record retention program including record destruction, administering the Enterprise office supply system including inventory, ordering, distribution, and accounting, and assisting in the asset inventory.
4. Knowledge of the gaming application software is required to extract and interpret the data.
5. The position will be responsible for other responsibilities and projects as required by the CFO.
6. Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately.
7. Other duties as assigned.
PREREQUISITES
General: Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Key Gaming License.
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Requires a two-year associate degree in accounting, business administration or data processing. Will accept equivalent work experience in lieu of education. Must be able to communicate in the primary language of the workplace.
Experience: Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc.), 10 key by touch and data entry skills. Speed and accuracy required.
Physical: Visual acuity; finger dexterity; repetitive motions; position requires sitting for long periods; reaching; bending and lifting to 40 pounds.
