Job Summary:
The Associate, Capital Markets will provide analytical and reporting support for the tracking and funding activities related to the Servicing Advance facility and equity investments. In addition, this role, while reporting to the Executive Director, will provide support to the Capital Markets team as it relates to the forecasting of the servicer advances and other aspects of the company’s capital structure to ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal stakeholders and external capital providers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of liquidity related to the Servicing Advance Facility, including Borrowing Base eligibility and review of ineligible receivables.
- Maintain the daily portfolio Accounts Receivable (AR) roll-forward for the SAF investment vehicle, and provide portfolio return and fee reporting to external capital providers and the Accounting team on a monthly basis.
- Update the enterprise 6-week cash forecast to ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing advance operations.
- Prepare and deliver all required reporting to the Servicer Advance Facility and all trustees involved in the credit facility structure in a timely manner.
- Collaborate proactively with operational business resources to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all Servicer Advance Facility reporting, ensuring consistency and timeliness.
- Support the development and enhancement of tracking policies, procedures, review functions, and reporting structures to meet the requirements of capital providers.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with finance and business operations teams.
- Perform additional duties related to capital management, financial performance, and reporting as requested.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a business-related degree.
- 2+ years' experience in related fields.
- An understanding of capital markets and financial reporting preferred
- Knowledge of commercial real estate financing and securitization transactions and related terminology is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated capacity to achieve results in a dynamic setting.
- Organizational and administrative skills that reflect attention to detail and the ability to prioritize amidst competing demands.
- Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy.
- Handling workload and special projects efficiently.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
