About the Role

As a Associate Embedded Software Developer (C++), you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality embedded software for a renowned European OEM in the automotive industry. You will join an agile Scrum team that works on innovative in-vehicle technologies, combining modern C++ development practices with robust modeling and testing methodologies.
Your work will directly contribute to next-generation automotive platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of embedded systems that shape the future of mobility.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain embedded software components in C++ 11.
  • Collaborate with system and software architects to understand and implement requirements.
  • Develop and maintain unit tests.
  • Work within a Scrum-based agile environment, actively contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Continuously learn and improve your technical and teamwork skills.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Knowledge of C++ programming (preferable C++11).
  • Ability to write simple programs (proven projects),
  • Understanding of software development fundamentals (version control, debugging, documentation).
  • Ability to work effectively in agile/Scrum teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written).

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architect for system and software documentation.
  • Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as QNX.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.
  • Understanding of CAN, LIN, or Ethernet communication protocols.
  • Exposure to model-based design and requirements engineering tools.
  • Experience working in Linux-based environments or developing applications for embedded Linux systems.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Open to graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in software development.
  • Availability to work in an international team environment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for business purposes (rare trips only).
