About the Role
As a Associate Embedded Software Developer (C++), you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality embedded software for a renowned European OEM in the automotive industry. You will join an agile Scrum team that works on innovative in-vehicle technologies, combining modern C++ development practices with robust modeling and testing methodologies.
Your work will directly contribute to next-generation automotive platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of embedded systems that shape the future of mobility.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain embedded software components in C++ 11.
- Collaborate with system and software architects to understand and implement requirements.
- Develop and maintain unit tests.
- Work within a Scrum-based agile environment, actively contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Continuously learn and improve your technical and teamwork skills.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Knowledge of C++ programming (preferable C++11).
- Ability to write simple programs (proven projects),
- Understanding of software development fundamentals (version control, debugging, documentation).
- Ability to work effectively in agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written).
Bonus Points if You Have
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architect for system and software documentation.
- Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as QNX.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.
- Understanding of CAN, LIN, or Ethernet communication protocols.
- Exposure to model-based design and requirements engineering tools.
- Experience working in Linux-based environments or developing applications for embedded Linux systems.
What Makes You Eligible
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Open to graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in software development.
- Availability to work in an international team environment.
- Ability to travel occasionally for business purposes (rare trips only).
