Associate Buyer
Full-Time Hourly Position
Position Duties:
- Purchase and financially manage the packaging and operating supplies for Bachman’s
- Lead product selection and financially manage vases, glass and floral accessories
- To provide administrative operational support for the Merchandise Manager
- Define items, Vendor Set Up, Enter PO’s
- Assist with Communication and Execution to the Stores
- Merchandise on the website: Seasonally
- Markdowns: Seasonally
- Replenishment operations through OTLs
- Compute margins, markups, and discounts
- Communicate effectively with Bachman's stores, departments, and outside vendors
Qualifications:
- Advanced administrative skills to include Microsoft Office Suite of products
- High degree of organizational skills required
- Must be able to compute margins, markups, and discounts
- Communicate effectively with Bachman's stores, departments, and outside vendors
- College degree in related field, preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am-5pm, occasional weekends with holidays.
