Associate Buyer- Wholesale Perennials
Full-Time Hourly Position
Position Duties:
- Provide support for the buying team.
- Daily management of item/product setup, stock levels, store availabilities, writing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, signing, and promotions.
- Troubleshooting vendor and store issues, as well as special orders.
- Act as a liason between growing/wholesale team.
- Collect and organize all SKU content from buyers to setup an item for the website.
- Submit products to website team to be launched and assist with product photo shoots.
- Source product, through proper channels, and maintain relationships.
- Subject matter expert in NetSuite ERP, item setup, promotions, freight, and reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Advanced administrative skills to include Microsoft Office Suite of products
- High degree of organizational skills required
- Must be able to compute margins, markups, and discounts
- Communicate effectively with Bachman's stores, departments, and outside vendors
- Horticulture/Agriculture/Biology degree or equivalent experience required
- Previous experience in perennial plants/plant material/growing/wholesale industry
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hour days, occasional weekends or extra day during peak seasons.
