This role supports renewable energy business development initiatives by identifying and progressing project opportunities in close collaboration with technical, development, and finance teams. The position involves coordinating tenders and bids, managing third-party consultants, and ensuring alignment with PLN PPA/RFP requirements and regulatory developments. The role also focuses on industry research, stakeholder coordination, and cost monitoring to support successful project execution in Indonesia’s renewable energy market.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work closely with TS & Development team in research initiative to identify project opportunities
Assist coordination of all tenders and bids submission process, ensure that all requirements both internal and external are fulfilled
Assist in managing third-party development consultant or contractors and ensure their performance as per agreed SLA
Monitor the latest development of PLN’s PPA and RFP and ensure the bids/tenders proposal reflect the current terms and conditions
General industry research in the identification of opportunities
Monitor regulatory programs and trends and advise the management as to likely future constraints and opportunities
Collaborate closely with the Finance department to oversee and monitor expenditures related to Vena Indonesia Projects, ensuring a comprehensive tracking of the total funds disbursed by the company or individual up to the current date.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (project management, engineering, etc.). Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience in business development. Lead / develop project 5 MW or more.
Technical / Professional Skills:
Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, markets, and industry trends. Experience in Renewable Energy business. Dispute resolution and commercial and contract negotiation. Support land related activities, including land identification, preliminary due diligence, landowner engagement, and coordination of land documentation.
Non-Technical / Soft Skills:
Excellent Bahasa and good English communication skills; Understanding of financial modeling and project financing is a plus.
