Overview of the Role

• Responsible for managing and building the business of manufacturer/clients who are represented under the CA Carlin umbrella. Entry level position will learn the business under instruction Director of Sales and Business Managers 
• This role will be a supporting part of, developing, building, and maintaining credible and long-term Client relationships and retail partner relationships. 
• Hybrid - must be local to Eden Prairie, MN 2-3 days/ week in office
• Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 based on experience, qualifications and skills.

What You’ll Do at C.A. Carlin

• Convenience Store focus 
• Responsible for building relationships with key retail customers  
• Sales calls with customers (weekly, bi-weekly & monthly).  
• Work with key retailers to build programing, secure new distribution, present client sales and marketing strategies and top initiatives.   
• Coordination of retail appointments during client market visits.  
• Store visits to assess program opportunities. 
• Implement promotional programs with customers (signage, TPR, suggestive sell, fuels rewards, etc.).  
• Works closely with retail contacts to ensure sales execution of plans. 
• Creation and implementation of presentations. 
• Communication with clients regarding key customers and retail chains. 
• Administrative follow up to include, recap of sales call, client tracker updates, report successes/challenges  
• Participation in client customer & retail sales meetings. 
• Participation in customer trade shows  
• Works closely with Director of Sales and Business Managers to assist in maintaining customer relationships and client programming at identified customers.  
• Responsibilities to include preparing and assisting in presenting client objectives. (New items, new client, strategy/goals).  
• Assisting in trade-show/expo preparation, other customer events.  

What You Should Bring to the Table

• High school education or higher required 
• Knowledge of convenience retailer’s systems, policies, procedures, and ways of working 
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision 
• Possesses strong management & organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
