The Associate Business Account Specialist is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to begin a career in procurement, logistics, and account management. In this role, you will support day-to-day operations by assisting with supplier coordination, customer service, and logistics execution.
You will work closely with account managers, suppliers, and internal teams to help ensure timely freight movement, asset tracking, and maintenance coordination. This position provides hands-on experience in managing relationships, supporting operational efficiency, and contributing to business growth within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Monthly reconciliation and creation of contracts and order logistics for ingredient accounts. Execution of month-end pricing and reconciliation of product received. Assist daily with ticket corrections and verification of inbound tonnage.
Upkeep of onsite contractor insurance and MSA’s.
Assist in coordinating local contractors for transportation and repair activities.
Enter and track purchase orders and invoices to support the payment approval process.
Provide support in onboarding new customers and setting up account requirements.
Help maintain and update fleet management records for rolling and off-site assets.
Assist with basic logistics planning and scheduling of customer pickups.
Support execution of routine repairs and maintenance under guidance from senior team members.
Monitor shipment activity and help resolve basic service or scheduling issues.
Respond to customer inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and support procurement strategies.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to accounts and operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
WHAT WE’RE SEEKING:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business Administration, Agriculture Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or related; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Company will consider a currently enrolled college student with an anticipated graduation by end of current school year as qualified.
Internship or prior experience in logistics, customer service, or operations is a plus but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Flexibility to occasionally work extended hours as needed.
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and desire to grow within the organization.
