Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Budget Analyst. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Rocket Center, WV.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Allegany Ballistics Laboratory Organization Unit.   

Position Summary:

Compile and review manufacturing budgets for organizational units using actual performance, previous budget figures, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration

Interface with Plant Supervision as well as Program IPT to establish quarterly budgets and provide performance reports.
Support various departments in analyzing and tracking overhead budgets. 

Basic Qualifications

  • This position emphasizes skills and experience.  Will consider a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of 4 years of applied experience, Bachelor's degree and 0 years of related work experience

  • Must be able to analyze significant amounts of data using MS Office products: Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels of supervision

  • Must be able to work onsite in Rocket Center, WV

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

  • US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Excel skills is highly preferred

  • Experience with CostPoint and Cognos

  • Analytical Skills

  • Presentation skills

  • Organizational/Time Management skills and ability to multi task

  • Self-motivated and works well in team environment

  • Degree preference is Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting

Primary Level Salary Range: $49,400.00 - $74,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
