Background & Purpose of the Job
We are searching for an Associate Brand Manager to support and drive initiatives for the UFS NA Condiments category. This role is focused on the Hellmann’s Mayonnaise brand, the biggest brand and category for UFS North America with strong momentum in sales, share, and margin growth. The Associate Brand Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Back-of-House (BOH) strategies, innovation roadmaps, and commercial plans.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of an exciting trajectory for the Hellmann’s brand and a key strategic growth platform for UFS North America, touching every aspect of the marketing mix from commercial strategy to innovation to communications.
Who You Are and What You'll Do
• Strategic Support: Assist in driving the Hellmann’s Back-Of-House (BOH) strategies, innovation roadmaps, and commercial plans.
• Project Management: Lead innovation and renovation project management and delivery, including the development of the mayo segmentation innovation, & mayo superiority initiative.
• Performance Management: Analyze market sales/share with actionable insights into internal and competitor performance.
• Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with Operator Marketing & Customer Development to deliver best-in-class sales support materials and operator-specific marketing campaigns to execute BOH strategy & TT10 performance.
• Communications: Support BOH unmissable brand & influencer campaign to drive B2B2C brand awareness.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s desired.
• Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience required, with a focus on brand/category management and innovation & renovation project management. Blue-chip CPG and/or foodservice experience a plus.
• Skills: Strong financial acumen, commercial understanding, and proficiency with syndicated performance tracking data platforms (Circana, Nielsen, Direct Link).
• Attributes: A natural go-getter with a growth mindset, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively.
• Passion: Demonstrated passion for food and dining, with a consistent track record of creating effective brand content.
• Note that this role is office-based, with a minimum of 3 days per week required in the Hoboken office.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
