Church & Dwight looking for an associate manager that will own the day to day management of the Amazon channel for the Hero Cosmetics brand. The candidate will act as the lead owner of Hero’s seller central account as well as lead advertising strategy (partially agency support) with a focus on maximizing profitable sales growth in the channel. This is a “Hands on” role with significant leadership opportunity that would be ideal for a strong early career amazon brand manager.

This position reports to the Associate Director, 3P Marketplace and will work closely with the broader Hero team including Brand marketing, Digital Marketing, Creative, and operations.

I. Core Responsibilities

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Drive sales growth on the Amazon platform by optimizing product listings (PDP Copy, Images, A+ Content), pricing strategies, and promotional activities (Lightning Deals, Best Deals, Prime Exclusive Discounts)
  • Lead content generation for any and all brand initiatives, tentpoles, and new item launches to drive best in class results while bringing the Hero equity to life.
  • Develop and implement Sponsored Ads strategy to drive incremental sales, increase AOV, and maximize Return on Ad Spend
  • Develop Amazon DSP strategy in coordination with our current Amazon Agency
  • Lead and maintain the Amazon Marketing Cloud reporting objectives for Hero Cosmetics (and other potential brands)
  • Report Amazon Ads and Amazon Sales performance to Hero and CHD leadership teams, including weekly, bi-weekly, and quarterly results against baseline KPIs

Operations Management:

  • Own the execution of all day to day tasks needed to support the Hero Amazon business including catalog management, promotional execution, and troubleshooting any and all business issues.
  • Partner with the Director of Operations for day-to-day operations related to Amazon, including inventory management, listing uptime, and FBA replenishment
  • Partner with Demand Planning Manager for SKU-level demand planning and inventory forecasting.

II. Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, with a focus on Amazon marketplace management and advertising. Proven track record of successfully driving sales and revenue growth on the Amazon platform.
  • Beauty experience a plus

Industry Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with Amazon’s policies, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Comfort in leading strategic agency direction.
  • Understanding of sales, advertising, and business reporting with an ability to concisely deliver updates and actions

Technical Skills:

  • Expert in using Amazon Seller Central and related tools, such as Helium10, Perpetua, PacVue, DataHawk, GETIDA, and other comparable SaaS integrations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with e-commerce analytics and reporting tools.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $69,700 – $109,200. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity.  Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
