Position Summary
Marketing is at the core of our world and at the heart of where we make our decisions. Marketers understand the consumer...really understand the consumer. They ask questions. Find answers. As an Associate Brand Manager (ABM), you will be at the center for some of the biggest decisions we make.
ABMs are leaders in our brands and business es : You turn ideas into actions. Your responsibilities will span across strategy, advertising, media, and agency management. You will lead creative planning, execution, and optimization across the marketing mix . This position is best suited for someone who is creative, consumer-obsessed, has a bias for action, a love for social media and culture , and excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable working both horizontally and vertically across an organization to keep multiple projects and priorities moving forward to achieve goals.
The AB M role on Philadelphia bring s the opportunity to work on a beloved 150 year old brand that is the inventor of cream cheese and the market leader in the US and Canada . You will work on the brand across North America, building breakthrough communications and establishing brand equity that will drive business growth. You will partner with incredible creative talent to find new ways to reach consumers across the full consumer journey . You will be responsible for thinking differently about how we advertise, and inspiring others to do the same .
Key Components of the Role

  • Creative S trategy & Planning : Manage end - to - end creative strategy , translating business objectives into insight-driven creative concepts that resonate with audiences . Demonstrate expertise in the consumer journey and application of the full marketing mix , with strong comprehension of emerging platforms. Identify optimal creative territories and key ideas for development, ensuring Canadian localized relevance while exploring cross-border opportunities for synergy and scalability.


  • Campaign & Activation Execution : Responsible for delivering creative work and activations on - time and on - budget . Take ownership of the creative brief, facilitate agency discussions, and manage the feedback process. Coordinate creative approvals among key stakeholders while maintaining responsibility for budget management, timelines, and marketing calendars. Approve the research framework to support creative development.


  • Performance Tracking & Optimization: Design clear upfront campaign and activation objectives and KPIs that align with business objectives . Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, offering actionable insights , and executing recommendations for ongoing improvement.


  • Brand Equity : Support the establishment and maintenance of brand foundations to cultivate emotional connections and ensure brand consistency.


  • Stakeholder Engagement : Lead internal and external partners in taking creative ideas from concept to reality , w ork ing closely with category marketing, consumer insights, omni shopper marketing , sales, finance, and agency partners . Drive h ands-on leadership of social media team, engaging the brand in culture . Steer full cross-agency team (creative, social, media, PR) to bring ideas to life and extend campaign across relevant channels . Manage discussions during presentations with business unit and marketing senior leadership .


Qualifications

  • Consumer-led marketer with an ability to leverage insights and trends to inform marketing strategies. Must have a strong passion for understanding consumer behavior and empathy to create impactful consumer connections.


  • Proven track record of drive for results and leadership.


  • Creative innovator with the courage to stand up for ideas and passionate about the power of brand and consumer experience to impact the strategic direction of business .


  • Strong communication , influence and relationship building skills in a cross-functional and agency team environment .


  • Bias for action and o perates with agility in a fast-paced environment . Can manage multiple workstreams effectively and in an organized manner.


  • Strong strategic and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage multiple sources of data to bring forth recommendations and execute.


  • Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in marketing for a CPG company or experience supporting on the agency side (advertising, consulting, media) , social media specific experience a plus


  • Bachelor's degree required
