Position Description

We are seeking an Associate to join our Brand Activation team. In this role, you will help drive the execution of integrated brand and marketing initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to plan and activate programs that support firmwide brand priorities. You will play a key role in bringing PIMCO’s brand to life through coordinated campaigns, content, and experiences that align with our broader strategic objectives.

You will contribute to evolving how we activate our brand—leveraging data, emerging technologies, and modern content ecosystems to deliver more personalized, scalable, and measurable experiences across channels. This includes embracing new tools, testing innovative approaches, and continuously optimizing performance based on audience and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of Brand Activation strategy and objectives, ensuring alignment with broader firm priorities
  • Own day-to-day project management across key initiatives, including planning timelines, managing deliverables, coordinating stakeholders, and driving approvals from concept through execution
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring strong organization, clear prioritization, and on-time delivery across workstreams
  • Drive execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including development, socialization, implementation, and performance tracking
  • Build and manage partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and external partners to drive alignment and execute initiatives effectively
  • Proactively manage stakeholder communication, balancing inputs, navigating feedback, and ensuring timely decision-making to keep projects moving forward
  • Develop and adapt content across channels, including social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) and internal communications, with an understanding of platform-specific best practices
  • Utilize emerging tools (including AI-enabled solutions) to enhance content development, streamline workflows, and scale activation efforts
  • Partner with technology and analytics teams to integrate marketing platforms and leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance, enabling more connected, efficient, and scalable activation
  • Contribute to building more personalized marketing experiences across touchpoints, informed by data, segmentation, and behavioral insights
  • Support the planning and execution of immersive brand experiences, including in-person activations, ensuring alignment with broader campaign and brand objectives
  • Support the development and execution of employer brand storytelling and employee experience initiatives
  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to PIMCO’s brand standards, maintaining consistency across regions, platforms, and audiences
  • Support the development and execution of branded materials, including premium items and other initiatives for employees and clients
  • Apply a test-and-learn approach to marketing initiatives, pilot new formats, channels, and content strategies to improve engagement and effectiveness
  • Develop clear, compelling presentations to communicate campaign strategies, updates, and performance insights
  • Identify opportunities to evolve processes and ways of working, improving speed-to-market and scalability across brand activation efforts

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Marketing, or Liberal Arts
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, with a focus on internal and external engagement, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality in a timely manner
  • Proven ability to execute against assigned responsibilities with strong attention to detail and effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of emerging marketing tactics, trends, and best practices across channels
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Copilot), with familiarity in Adobe platforms and AI tools that enhance productivity, content development, and creative workflows
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for learning about the investment management industry
  • Event coordination experience is a plus

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.


Salary Range: $ 87,000.00 - $ 93,000.00
