What You’ll Do
- Assist with leading marketing efforts and managing key B2C audiences for internal stakeholders; including Program Leads, Alumni Engagement, and Startup Arena teams, by supporting campaign planning, content coordination, and day-to-day execution.
- Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to recruit fellows, engage alumni, and build visibility for Startup Arena participants.
- Coordinate marketing efforts for large-scale initiatives, such as the NBA HBCU Fellowship Program, working cross-functionally across internal teams.
- Develop and distribute content across communication channels, including newsletters, email marketing, and social media, tailored for B2C audiences.
- Manage and optimize paid media campaigns using ad grants and budgeted spend (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta) to boost outreach and awareness.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness.
- Execute co-marketing strategies in partnership with MLT’s Employer Partners and Philanthropy team to enhance visibility and relationship value.
- Ensure brand consistency across all B2C materials, collaborating with the broader marketing team to align messaging with MLT’s mission and goals.
- Conduct market research and support content planning based on trends and engagement insights.
- Lead administrative duties in support of B2C Marketing efforts, including meeting coordination, note taking, and internal communications
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing or communications, with a focus on B2C or audience engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
- Experience managing or supporting paid media and social campaigns (Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) preferred.
- Proficiency with marketing tools such as Hubspot, Canva, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
